Subliminal Audio – A subliminal waste of money

When it comes to spending your money, subliminal audios top the list. Do not misunderstand. Visual subliminal messages (video, movies, and computer programs) have been shown to work. Although, I’m not sure how effective. Subliminal audios, on the other hand, have been proven time and time again to be totally worthless. If you have had any luck with subliminal audio, it is nothing more than a placebo effect. Bottom line: don’t waste your money on subliminal audio products.

For example, in a study conducted by the University of California, Santa Cruz-237 volunteers listened to 3 different sets of first-line subliminal esteem audios over a 30-day period. The conclusion of the study was that the audios had absolutely no effect on the subjects, at all.

Also, Mike Brescia of Think Right Now did substantial research on subliminal audios and came to the same conclusion: they are simply a waste of time and money. Although he has found numerous reasons why subliminal audio doesn’t work, he states 3 main reasons for its ineffectiveness. According to Brescia:

Reason #1 why subliminal tapes are garbage:

Your ears do not hear any words. You heard right, racing fans. It is impossible to be influenced by words that you cannot hear that are “hidden” under the music or the waves of the sea. I’ve spent years testing the hearing of people from elementary school age to over 100 and I can say with 100% certainty that when there is background noise (and especially strong foreground), no matter what the noise is, it’s hard to hear. language comprehension.

Reason #2 why subliminal tapes are garbage:

Poorly worded statements. Over the years, I’ve called several companies that sell subliminal tapes and asked for the supposed scripts that were “recorded and embedded under the music.” Only a few companies would reveal their scripts to buyers. And those who sent them showed that they know less than nothing about how the mind accepts and rejects information. It’s scary. But it didn’t matter because none of those who listened to his tapes actually got to hear any of his hurtful words anyway.

Reason #3 why subliminal tapes are garbage:

Improper playback equipment. Even if a person could hear words under the music or the waves of the sea (and we can’t), it would take extremely sophisticated playback equipment with the music played directly into their ears, not from speakers 2, 10, or 20 feet away. or more away. Sound is vibration. And sound vibrations get smaller as you move away from the sound source. So in the case of subliminal tapes/CDs, if you could hear words under the music/ocean sounds (and you can’t), you’d have to have headphones on.

I hope this sheds some light on this confusing topic. There are more reasons and much more to say on the subject, but there you have three very solid reasons… good reasons why you should never consider buying any kind of subliminal audiotape or CD.

If you have any nagging doubts that subliminal audio is worthless, there is plenty of information and research available on the internet. Wikipedia is a good starting point if you want to research this on your own.

There are many excellent methods for making changes to your subconscious beliefs. Unfortunately, this is not one of them.
