SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is the strategy used in online marketing. The purpose of this strategy is to drive targeted traffic to a website to increase sales. Different tools are used in SEO that are classified into ethical and unethical.

Unethical SEO which is used to generate high traffic in fewer days but high bounce rate and which can cause a low ranking of the website. In this method, SEO is used to trick SE (Search Engine) by using prohibited or illegal tools for SEO. Typically, the strategies used in unethical SEO are spamming, creating scripts to trick SE, unnatural links to websites, low-quality content, hidden keywords, etc.

Ethical SEO is done by applying strategies that comply with almost all the rules of famous search engines. The website naturally increases its rank in SE results. Ethical SEO also has two main types of organic and inorganic SEO or unpaid SEO and paid SEO. The organic strategy includes video, images, content, etc. Publishing for Off-Page SEO and On-Page SEO includes keyword management, internal web page links, keyword optimization, etc.

Keywords are very important in online marketing because all the SE results depend on the keywords typed by the person who doesn’t know you. Using multi-word phrases increases the chance that your website will show more than using few keywords on your website. Use the keyword that ranks high on your website’s search engine 2-3 times.

Links on your website and links from your website on another website have a positive impact on your own website. When the search engine ranks your website, it also looks at the links from your website and your links on other websites that rank higher on the SE list.

Regularly posting content to your website and others’ websites also helps in SEO. To be on top, your content must be of high quality. The content should not be copied because the search engine also checks your content for plagiarism.
