Samsung G600 Purple can even compete with Nokia 6500 Classic

If there is a brand that can give Nokia a tough competition with its models, it is Samsung. Samsung G600 Purple is one of those mobile phones that can beat some sophisticated Nokia models of its time. Samsung G600 Purple phone was launched in July 2007 and if you compare Nokia models sometime around that period, you will find that G600 Purple wins more keys.

The purple Samsung G600 phone has some wonderful features. If you look at them you will realize that they are really useful and how Samsung has improved over time to offer a different touch to the ergonomics of its devices.

The tri-band can be compared to a 3G model from Nokia called the Nokia 6500 Classic. Both phones have some ups and downs. Still, purple Samsung G600 manages to win over this 3G phone with some wonderful features like 5 Mp camera. The phone’s camera has features like 2592E1944 pixels, flash, autofocus, image stabilizer and then video (VGA@15fps). The phone also has a document viewer to access files such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files.

In addition to the features listed above, you have Samsung G600 Violet equipped with GPRS, Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps, EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps with WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, HTML ( NetFront v3.4). It has Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP and a USB port for connectivity to other devices and data transfer. Then there’s a powerful media player, FM radio, TV out, and much more.

The Nokia 6500 Classic is a 3G phone with UMTS functionality. The phone was launched in October 2007 with some wonderful features like 2 inch screen, 1 GB internal memory, GPRS Class 32, 53.6 kbps, EDGE, HSCSD, HSDPA, USB and much more. You have a 2 MP camera and video recording with QCIF technology. The phone comes in a bronze color in contrast to the purple color of the Samsung G600. There is a built-in speaker, JAVA and other features.

Still, Nokia Classic cannot compete with Samsung G600 Purple in areas like document viewer, camera and looks. They are both slider phones, but Samsung is a master of sliders.
