Rebirth, redemption, restoration, all from repentance

The frustration comes from the humanity in me when people say they want the power of God in their lives but refuse to submit to His will. They insist that they know God, but they can’t get the plank out of their own eye.

They want something for nothing, never respecting the law of God written on all the panels of eternity, not even the irrefutable evidence in this life.

If you want to be forgiven, you must repent by turning your life over to God and show by your behavior that your attitude has changed. It is very simple and remarkably effective.

Your relationships don’t change because you don’t change.

You don’t change just because of one fact: you still have to submit your life to God.

When you turn your life over to God, something miraculous happens. He shows you the truth. He gives you the courage to stand there, judged. He helps you to see that the truth does not condemn you, he sets you free. He prompts you to do what you can in light of that truth. He shows you how you have offended everyone, and he puts in you a heart to live in peace with all mankind.

From that moment on, peace becomes you, because God gives you the gift of relational vision, the spiritual capacity to put yourself in the place of others.

In a word, revival. No one who has not experienced such a Revival is saved. It is enough to turn to God, because ‘by their fruits you will know them’, as the Lord Jesus himself said.

Who is there, saved by God, and does not turn around?

Conviction is not self-righteousness, a will against Holy God, but self-admonition, continually, and then constant self-sacrifice, hearing correctly how God will help you fix things this side of eternity.

This is the most compelling truth on this side of death; Now is the time; now is the opportunity. Especially for those who say they are saved…don’t be that kind of ‘Christian’ of whom the Lord says, ‘They will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and cast out demons, but I say that we never I met you; depart from My Presence.’ Can the prophet be saved without living a skillfully penitent life?

The problem of all life is in the friction of relationships.

What power of God is there if others cannot see the power of God that has changed you?

Yes, indeed, there are many false doctrines and many comfortable pillows that look like the fire of God, but all is useless unless the Christian kneels and asks for forgiveness because he has seen the testimony of darkness written on his heart – to the extent of the relationships they have that do not please the Lord.

The revival of redemption and restoration comes from the power of God through repetitive repentance.

When repentance is written on our hearts, and has become our way of life, the power of God will be seen by all.
