I have always believed that the best gifts for guitarists are always the strings (if you know what brand it uses), or the tablature of guitar songs. If you’re not sure exactly what guitar song tablature it is, don’t worry. Basically, look in any music store and ask for an explanation of what guitar tabs are and the seller will tell you where to find them and how to find out which books have them and which ones don’t. I’m always buying gifts for guitarists who are friends of mine and the tablature of their favorite artists always seems to be a hit.

Most guitarists no longer learn to read music, which in itself isn’t that bad, but for music purists like me, every step we take to Mozart and Beethoven’s tools dilutes the quality of what we hear. and we experiment musically. . I recently saw a program online that is basically like the tablature of guitar songs that you find in a book, only everything is on your computer. It is a fascinating program. Somehow it feels and works similar to what I’ve seen in those Guitar Hero games that are so popular. I think the lessons are a bit more expensive than typical guitar tablature, but if you’re looking for novelty gifts for guitarists on your shopping list, that computer tablature looks great.
