Inspirational Bible Verses – Find Hope and Comfort in God’s Word

Everybody has problems. I don’t think I’ve ever met another human being without a problem in his life. Problems and complications, heartaches, headaches, are part of life and the sign of a strong person is someone who knows how to deal with his problems and advise others about theirs.

But that doesn’t mean you have to have a heart of stone. We all need a little help sometimes, a hand to lean on, a shoulder to cry on. But sometimes, and we all have this time or another in our lives, when there is no one we can turn to, there is always God’s words and teaching to bring strength and comfort—in the Bible. The Bible is the source of strength for a Christian. The Bible is always there when you need it, always giving you the best advice.

Simply put, the Bible is inspiring. If you’re feeling a little down and looking for something to lift you up, the Bible is a great source for inspirational biblical scriptures. Doubtful? Why not get your personal copy of the Bible and start reading the books of Proverbs, Psalms, Ecclesiastes, Job, and the Song of Solomon, also known as the Song of Solomon?

For example, the story of Job’s trials. In one fell swoop, Job’s health was compromised, his wealth was taken from him, and worst of all, his children were killed. Job suffered great pain and sadness. But what he didn’t realize at the time was that he was being groomed to become the centerpiece of God’s grand plans; Job clung to God as he went through his suffering. If he continues to read the story of Job in the Bible, he will discover that Job was the central character in a spiritual wager between Satan and God. In other words, Job’s experiences were instrumental in fulfilling God’s plans.

God has good plans for all of us. It’s just that humans are sometimes too myopic to even glimpse the big picture of what God’s desires are. You won’t find a more uplifting and inspiring message anywhere than Job’s story of tragedy, faith, and divine redemption.

There are other inspiring stories found in the Bible. As a Christian, he just needs to spend time and get into the habit of reading the Bible every day. He will discover that he has a more positive outlook on life as a reward for his dedication.
