Before upgrading your garage, first make a list of what you want to do. Here are some tips to improve your garage.

• Paint the walls. Paint may be discolored or dirty from years of use. If there are areas where the paint is cracking and peeling off the wall, check to see if the walls are damp. • Repaint the garage door leading to the house. If you have a small front door to your garage that leads into the house, it is probably not in poor condition because it is not exposed to rain. You may just need a fresh coat of paint to make it look like new.

Replace the main garage door. You may want to replace your main garage door because it is old or no longer working properly. Or maybe you want a new, modern garage door. A wooden garage door with an interesting design or with some glass designs could give your home a cool new look. Because this is such a large door, it will certainly give the front of your home a facelift.
