Music Pets is another pet game that is available for the Facebook community. However, this game is a bit more different from the other pet games that I have come across so far. Developed by Conduit Labs, this game provides an additional twist on how pet games work.

How to play

Music Pets is about raising a pet and also having music in your life. It sounds a bit out of the ordinary, but for those who really like music, this pet game should like it.

The game begins with the screen selection of the pet you want to have. From there, you will choose a name and also a gender for your pet. Unlike most other pet games, Music Pets does not allow you to change the look of your pet; instead, the developers fix the look. For my case, I choose a baby fox for this review. (Yes, I love the fox)

Once you have chosen which pet you want, you will be asked to choose the room in which you want your pet to live. Once this is done, the game will provide you with a selection screen. This screen will allow you to choose the artist or music albums that you will see and listen to during games. The selection of music is quite limited and not every song provided will suit all tastes.

After that decision is made, your pet will be placed in its new home. This is where you will be visited by the Mayor of Pet City and shown how the game works.

The first thing you are asked to do is ask your pet to “bring” you an album in town. From there, you will be provided with 3 songs to play per day. Playing songs on Music Pets will allow your pet to regenerate their happy points which in turn can be used to train your pets and earn some rewards.

Your pet will also have a power bar that will allow him to perform other specific tasks, such as searching for new songs and adding them to your playlist.

In order to retain some of your happy points in the game, the mayor will tell you that you can replenish it by playing a song in your album collection, consuming happy fruits / foods, and visiting your friends’ pet and socializing a bit.

Now we will see the environment a bit, it will be quite empty at the beginning in the game and, although you can always visit your friends and the mayor’s resident, not much can be done during the first stage of the game.

So let’s go to training, training is more like a minigame for your pet and so far, I only found 1. This is more like dropping a ball and hitting what you can on the minigame type screen. . The objective of this game is to press the name of the album or artists that you have selected on the screen. Once players complete the game, this will add to your collection points and reward you with some money as well.

Your pet also needs to eat from time to time, so visit the chef and get the necessary food to maintain your pet’s energy level. The food is not free, so you have to spend a little on your credits to get it.

Finally, the game allows you to decorate your pet’s house. This is what is found in most pet play inventories, from bedding to table furniture to posters. You can do this after earning enough credits and making your pet as comfortable as possible.

Graphics

From the look of the graphic, this game is not surprising at all, as it looks just like any other pet game on Facebook. Animation is limited and there is not much to do to talk around the room or play with your pet. You can’t even customize your pet much, the only thing they offer you is to change the color of their fur.

Sound

The best in the game, but a lower level than Super Dance. The music is very pleasant to listen to and you can choose from various artists on your playlist. Famous artist such as U2 and Lady GAGA is provided for the player to choose either, however, if the player needs more collection or the song selection is not available, the player will have to buy it on the internet. I bet real world currency will be involved if the player wants their music to appear in the game. Please note that most of the songs listed in the game are not up to date and if players need the latest one, they will have to purchase it.

Music Pets is a very well done pet game with wonderful music. This game is for those who enjoy raising their pets and enjoy quality music on Facebook. Other than that, it is just another pet simulator on Facebook.
